It occurred to us that as a public service it might be amusing, if not educational, to post on this web site the e-mail correspondence between Alan and Kevin since Kevin's moving off to Saipan and the Mariana Islands.
This way you all who visit here can get news of Kevin's adventures, learn about the geographic, meteorological, and cultural aspects of a place you probably never think about. We can also watch, over time, the mid- to long-term effects of what this "adventure" is doing to the mind, if not the writing style, of your favorite western swing guitarist and country gentleman.
